What Are TYGRON®'s 8-in-1 Ingredients and Why Are They Combined?

TYGRON® pairs 1,000 mg of tiger milk mushroom sclerotium with seven supporting ingredients in a single daily sachet, built so the blend works as one daily wellness routine rather than eight separate pills. Each addition is there for a reason: to support the same area of everyday respiratory and immune wellness, or to help your body make better use of the star ingredient.

If you are comparing tiger milk mushroom products in Malaysia or Singapore, the ingredient list is where the real differences show up. Here is what is inside the TYGRON® sachet, and the thinking behind why these specific botanicals sit together.

What does "8-in-1" actually mean in TYGRON®?

"8-in-1" means eight active components delivered together in one sachet, every day, instead of asking you to stack several separate products. The anchor is tiger milk mushroom; the other seven are chosen to complement it in the same wellness lane: daily breathing comfort, immune support, and a routine the whole family can keep up.

The point of combining them is consistency. A single sweet sachet that tastes like Ribena is far easier to take every morning than a handful of capsules, and daily consistency is what matters most with a functional food.

Why is tiger milk mushroom the anchor ingredient?

Tiger milk mushroom (Lignosus rhinocerus) is the foundation because of its 1,3/1,6 beta-glucan content. TYGRON® holds the Malaysia Book of Records for the highest 1,3/1,6 beta-glucan content in Malaysia. The 1,3/1,6 beta-glucan is the most important active compound and quality benchmark in tiger milk mushroom: a higher content signals greater potency and quality.

Each sachet carries 1,000 mg of tiger milk mushroom sclerotium. The sclerotium is the underground storage part of the mushroom, and it is the part with the heritage. According to the 2018 status review of the species published in Frontiers in Pharmacology by Nallathamby and colleagues, it "is highly sought after by the native communities in Malaysia", and the traditional use recorded for the mushroom is to relieve cough and asthma. On the modern side, according to Tan, Leo and Tan in Scientific Reports (2021), 50 healthy volunteers, all non-smokers with no chronic respiratory disease, took tiger milk mushroom twice daily for 3 months and the researchers reported improvements in lung-function markers and nasal comfort. It was open-label with a single arm and no placebo group, and it used a different product from ours, so we treat it as early, supportive evidence rather than proof. The authors themselves concede the effects "have yet to be validated in a clinical study".

Everything else in the sachet is built around making that anchor work harder for you. For a deeper look at why beta-glucan is the benchmark, see our beta-glucan explainer, and why the sclerotium matters in our guide to fruiting body vs mycelium.

What are the 8 active ingredients, and what does each contribute?

The blend is anchored by tiger milk mushroom, with the supporting cast chosen to work the same daily-wellness lane. Here is the full eight at a glance:

    Ingredient What it contributes
Tiger Milk Mushroom Sclerotium Extract The anchor, delivered through Herbosomal® liposomal encapsulation so the active compounds are easier for the body to take up.
Lion's Mane A functional mushroom valued for everyday wellness, included to broaden the mushroom base of the blend.
Bacopa A traditional botanical long associated with everyday mental sharpness and focus.
Astragalus A classic adaptogenic root used in traditional practice to support the body's everyday resilience.
Vitamin C A well-established antioxidant that supports normal immune function and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. 90 mg per sachet.
Elderberry A long-used botanical for seasonal wellness that also gives the sachet its naturally sweet flavour.
Turmeric A traditional golden root prized for its everyday antioxidant character.
Acacia Fibre A gentle plant fibre that supports a comfortable daily routine and rounds out the blend.

Within the eight, the 90mg of natural-source Vitamin C is included to support normal immune function as part of a daily routine. Grouping the blend this way is the whole rationale: the mushrooms and botanicals work the everyday-breathing and resilience side, while the Vitamin C works the immune-support side; one sachet, complementary directions, the same daily-wellness goal.

Why combine these botanicals instead of selling them separately?

Three reasons, and they are practical rather than marketing.

First, synergy of purpose. Every component sits in the same wellness lane (daily respiratory, immune and everyday-resilience support) so they reinforce one routine instead of pulling in different directions. You are not buying a multivitamin that does ten unrelated things; you are buying a focused blend built around one anchor.

One honest limit on all three reasons. There is no study of this blend, or of any 8-ingredient combination like it, and we are not going to imply otherwise. The evidence base for the anchor ingredient alone is one open-label study on 50 healthy adults, and according to the 2018 status review of the species in Frontiers in Pharmacology by Nallathamby and colleagues, "there is a paucity of validation studies including human clinical trials". The case for combining these eight is a formulation argument about purpose, adherence and absorption, which is what the three reasons above actually say. It is not a claim that the combination has been tested as a combination, because it has not.

Second, adherence. A functional food only helps if you actually take it daily. One sweet sachet stirred into water is a routine a busy KL or Singapore household can keep up, far more than remembering several separate bottles. Kids ask for it because it tastes like Ribena, not medicine.

Third, absorption. The tiger milk mushroom extract portion is delivered using Herbosomal® patented liposomal encapsulation technology (patent number MY-188945-A), a method designed to help the body take up the active compounds more readily. ORGANO uses this technology under licence; you can read how it works in our Herbosomal® absorption explainer.

Is the TYGRON® 8-in-1 blend suitable for the whole family?

Yes, with age-appropriate serving sizes. Adults 18 and over take 1 to 2 sachets a day; ages 7 to 18 take 1 sachet a day; ages 2 to 6 take half a sachet a day. It is not suitable for children under 2.

Because it is a functional food and not a medicine, it is built for daily wellness support, not for treating any condition. If you are pregnant, nursing, or on medication, check with your doctor first. The full ingredient and serving detail lives in our complete tiger milk mushroom guide for Malaysia.

How long before I notice a difference?

Most people see improvement within the first few days. Some customers even notice a difference after just one to two days, and most report a significant improvement in their lung wellness after a few weeks of daily use. Individual experiences vary, which is why the 8-in-1 blend is designed for a consistent daily routine rather than a one-off dose.

    Frequently asked questions

How many ingredients are in TYGRON®?

Eight active components in one sachet: Tiger Milk Mushroom Sclerotium Extract (the anchor), Vitamin C, Acacia Fibre, Bacopa, Elderberry, Astragalus, Lion's Mane, and Turmeric. That includes 90mg of natural-source Vitamin C per sachet.

How much tiger milk mushroom is in each TYGRON® sachet?

Each sachet contains 1,000 mg of tiger milk mushroom sclerotium, alongside the seven supporting ingredients. The sclerotium is the buried part of the mushroom rather than the visible one. According to the 2018 Frontiers in Pharmacology status review of the species, "the fruiting body (cap and stem) raises from the tuber under the ground, rather than from woody substrate", and that tuber is the sclerotium.

Why is Vitamin C included in a tiger milk mushroom product?

The 90mg of natural-source Vitamin C supports the immune side of the blend, complementing the respiratory-wellness and everyday-resilience role of the mushrooms and botanicals so one sachet covers both directions of daily wellness.

Does combining 8 ingredients make TYGRON® a medicine?

No. TYGRON® is a functional food, not a medicine. The 8-in-1 blend is formulated for daily wellness support; it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

    Is the 8-in-1 formula halal-certified?

Yes. TYGRON® is manufactured in Malaysia under GMP, HACCP and Halal (MS1500) certified conditions, so the full 8-in-1 blend is suitable for Muslim households across Malaysia and Singapore.
